| Wilderness Camp @ BR Hills Wildlife Sanctuary |

 The Biligiri Rangaswamy Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is well known for its elephants and rich Bio-diversity. The terrain is undulating with a chain of hill ranges, running parallel to each other. Streams and rivers crisscross the sanctuary to south-west as well as to the north-east. Much of the southern boundary of the sanctuary is adjoining the Tamilnadu state. The B.R. Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is well known for its rich diversity of flora and fauna. It is a unique type of area having scrub forests, dry and moist deciduous forests, semi evergreen and evergreen forests. This sanctuary has a large variety of plant and animals species in its area of 539.52 Sq. Kms. The area has got a number of endemic species and medicinal plants. The highest point of the hill is 5091 feet above sea level

Topography: Altitude varies from 750 Mtrs to 1816 Mtrs. Hilly area with steep slopes and highly undulating terrain.
Wildlife Attractions: The B R Hills Wildlife sanctuary is home to many species of wild animals. The sanctuary is teeming with varied flora and fauna. Gaurs, chitals, sambhars, bears, elephants, panthers and tigers inhabit the place in large numbers. Here is an opportunity for the nature lover to study over 200 species of birds, chief among which are the racket-tailed drango and the crested eagle.

Water Proof Alpine Tents
We have a few cottages belonging to the Govt
Dept., The participants will make use
of the cottages to keep their luggage and for Toilet
and bathrooms facilities. We will be pitching Water Proof Alpine
Tents. The campers will be provided with Sleeping
Bags, carrymats & Air Pillows. Two participants will be accommodated in
each tent. |

The above is inclusive of transportation, food, Forest Entry Fee, trekking permit charges, Accommodation, guide charges etc.,
