CAUVERY NISARGADHAMA:
This
lovely Tourist Attraction, just 8 kms away from Parumpara, is
built in a natural Island of River Cauvery is a Treat to watch. It
has Boating, Elephant Safari, Hanging Bridge and a Deer Park as
some of the Attractions.
HARANGI DAM:
A beautiful Dam built across a tributary of Cauvery is a
lovely picnic spot. Naturally set High Dam between two Great Hills
forms a imposing backdrop. |

GOLDEN TEMPLE:
Set on
a sereen atmosphere surrounded by a lush green maize fields and a
silhoutte of the Western Ghats is this Beautiful temple of Lord
Buddha built on the traditional Tibetial Architecture is the
largest buddha temple in India. A refugee settlement of displaced
Tibetians grown up to a beautiful township with all Amenities and
Comforts for the unfortunate ones is a vivid example of Indian

The capital of Coorg District
has many scenic places like Raja seat, Bhagamandala, Abbi falls,
Talacauvery (the birthplace of River Cauvery). It is the weather
here which has given it the name of "The Scotland of India". |

DUBARE FORESTS
This ever green forest has an
Elephant Training Centre and a lovely Picnic Spot. It is also a
natural island of a River. The forest camp is rich in Flora and
Fauna and is always on the hotlist of nature and wildlife loving
tourists. |

FALLS
This picturesque waterfalls is
just 38 kms away from Parumpara on Somwarpet road. The water in
its pristine form drops from a high which is a sight to behold.
