HARANGI  DAM:
A beautiful Dam built across a tributary of Cauvery is a lovely picnic spot. Naturally set High Dam between two Great Hills forms a imposing backdrop.

Set on a sereen atmosphere surrounded by a lush green maize fields and a silhoutte of the Western Ghats is this Beautiful temple of Lord Buddha built on the traditional Tibetial Architecture is the largest buddha temple in India. MADIKERI
The capital of Coorg District has many scenic places like Raja seat, Bhagamandala, Abbi falls, Talacauvery (the birthplace of River Cauvery). It is the weather here which has given it the name of "The Scotland of India".
